Beaches and bathing lakes near Horsens
At Horsens Fjord, you can take a dip and spend a pleasant day at the local beaches in and around Horsens, along the north side of the fjord at Sondrup or on Hjarnø and the harbour town of Snaptun on the south side of the fjord.

Husodde Beach
Not far from the centre of Horsens, you find this bathing beach, worth a visit. With a lovely view of the beautiful Horsens Fjord, clean bathing water, great facilities and lots of activities nearby, you are in for cosy hikes along the beach or a dip in the shallow water.
Langelinie City Beach
Bathing beach near the centre of Horsens with lots of life and activity during the Summer period. Fine sandy beach with a bathing jetty and good facilities.
Boller Mole (Pier)
Near the inner city of Horsens is Boller Castle and Forest. Here, surrounded by nothing but nature, a brand new pier stretches 100 meters into the fjord. The view from here is amazing - you'll see the outlines of small islands, the hilly shoreline at Stensballe 'mountains', and the harbourfront in Horsens. This place is perfect for cold water swimming all year round.
Sondrup Beach
This idyllic natural beach by Horsens Fjord is surrounded by forest and hills. Enjoy a dip from the bathing jetty or take a break during your hiking or cycling trip.
Fyel Bathing Lake
Beautifully located bathing lake in the Søhøjlandet area between Horsens and Silkeborg. The lake, which was created in a former gravel pit, features excellent facilities and a sandy beach.
Ring Lake
This bathing lake near Brædstrup offers a lovely beach with a bathing pier and a 3 km walking trail around the lake – perfect for both swimming and hiking.
